What is the AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant is a job search writing tool that helps you craft the messages and content you need throughout the application process — beyond just your resume.

What you can write
The Assistant comes with pre-built templates for the most common job search writing tasks:
Template | What it does |

Follow-up Email | Write a respectful follow-up to a recruiter after an interview or first contact |
Cold Outreach | Craft a genuine LinkedIn message or email to someone at a company you want to work at |
Answer JD Question | Generate a strong answer to a specific question from a job description |
Thank You Note | Write a post-interview thank you email that reinforces your interest |
Decline Offer | Gracefully decline a job offer while keeping the relationship warm |
Resignation Letter | Write a professional resignation letter |
Custom prompt | Write anything else — just describe what you need |
How to use it
- Go to Assistant in the sidebar
- Select a template or write a custom prompt
- The assistant uses your voice profile and background to generate personalized content
- Edit, copy, and send
Voice profiles
The assistant uses your active Voice Profile to match your writing style. Set one up in Settings or directly from the Assistant page to get output that sounds like you.
Tips
- Be specific in your prompts: name the company, role, and recruiter if you have them
- Always personalize the output before sending — the AI gives you a strong draft, you make it yours
- Use "custom prompt" for anything the templates don't cover
